Cut services are done on dry hair and do not include a shampoo, though a wash can be requested for the full Haircut. Options run from a 30-minute fringe refresh to a two-hour Haircut for new clients or significant changes. Maintenance Cuts refresh shape, lighten bulk, dust split ends and freshen length, and may need extra time after more than six months between cuts. Online consultations by email are offered to new clients or those planning a major change.
Slow hair sessions can be held in the salon or outdoors and are shaped around each client's wishes, with music, aromatherapy and a custom herbal rinse. Return is a one-hour session that includes a ceremonial clearing of space, a guided grounding meditation, a medicine or oracle card reading, intention setting, dry brushing, reiki energy healing and a shampoo. The Ceremonial Cut takes two to three hours and adds a consultation, a card reading, reiki, dry brushing and a haircut and style, and it can be adjusted to a client's comfort, including sitting quietly during the cut.
Styling sessions include a shampoo and style, either hand-dried or worked with natural texture, and clients may bring their own tools while Christina guides the styling. Special Occasion Style is offered by the hour for events and weddings, with on-site styling available; brides must book a trial appointment first. Clients arrive with clean, dry, worn-down hair, without ponytails, braids or top-knots, and an appointment may be denied with a cancellation fee if hair is not prepared that way.
Equine sessions are held on the ground and need no prior horse experience, though they are currently open only to people who own their own horse. The work uses Equine Guided Empowerment and Somatic Reprogramming, an approach developed by Cassandra Ogier of The Reflective Horse, and is described as nature-based, drawing on horse herd dynamics and nonverbal communication. A half-day session costs $222 for three hours, and a full day costs $444 for seven hours, including a lunch and integration break. Three half-day sessions total $555. Individuals, couples and groups can book, with group sessions and weekend immersions arranged by inquiry.
Built around slowing down, treating self-care as ritual and keeping hair in its natural form, with the equine work following a nature-based method.
A calm, unhurried feel, with slow sessions possible indoors or outdoors.
