Chloe Hair Lounge is run by its owner and stylist, Chloe Hsieh. Services are grouped into add-ons, color, haircuts, styling and treatments, and color makes up a large part of the menu, from lowlights and highlights to balayage and custom blonding.

The owner's career began with hair commercials, weddings and editorial work in Taiwan. After moving to Los Angeles she worked in Beverly Hills salons and took on editorial, photoshoot and event work, and she has also worked with the Aveda, Lanza, Redken and Schwarzkopf brands.

New clients are asked to plan ahead. First-time customers provide a credit card to reserve, and the more involved blonding and corrective color services have their own steps: Modern Custom Blonding carries a $30 non-refundable deposit and a visual consultation using photos of the hair and the desired look, Double Process needs a consultation first with a $30 deposit, and Color Correction requires a $100 deposit and a message-based consultation before booking.

Changes need notice. Cancellations or reschedules made with less than 48 hours' notice are charged 50% of the service price, and missed appointments are charged the full price without refund or credit. Appointments booked within 24 hours can be changed up to 4 hours ahead without a fee. Arrivals more than 10 minutes late may need to be rebooked.

The salon also sells a selection of hair care and styling products chosen by the owner through an online boutique.
