Chic Claws is run by its owner and nail artist, Destiny L, who has worked as a nail artist for about ten years. The business focuses mainly on nails, with a smaller menu of brow, henna and waxing services alongside it.
Nail services range from natural manicures and no-chip gel manicures to gel X and Apres Gel X extensions, builder gel (BIAB), and nail art from simple marble and French tip designs to freehand character work and 3D add-ons. Repairs, removals of product applied elsewhere, and kids' manicures for ages 5 to 12 are also offered. The portfolio shows gel X, builder gel, freestyle and freehand nail art, and no-chip manicures.
Some services take a deposit, and deposits are needed for several of the longer appointments. Clients who cancel within 36 hours of their appointment, or who do not show, are charged a 40% cancellation fee. An appointment that is more than 10 minutes late is rescheduled, and the deposit must be paid again. Buy Now, Pay Later is available in person for bookings from $50 to $4,000, with approval needed before the appointment. Gift cards come in $50, $75, $100 or $200 amounts or a custom amount, and gift card sales are final.
The shop is open Monday and Tuesday 9 AM to 8 PM, Wednesday to Friday 9 AM to 7 PM, and Saturday 9 AM to 4 PM. It is closed on Sundays.
