Surgical work covers nasal surgery, eyelid surgery, facelifts and neck lifts, brow lifts, chin and cheek augmentation, liposuction, scar revision, and ear work including ear reshaping and earlobe repair. Operations take place in the in-office surgical suite, an outpatient surgery facility, or an outpatient-based hospital, depending on the procedure, and more involved cases are often done at Floyd Memorial Hospital. Local anesthesia may be used much as a dentist would use it, and deeper sedation or general anesthesia is used for larger operations.
Non-surgical services include neurotoxins such as BOTOX Cosmetic, Dysport, and Xeomin or Jeuveau, along with dermal fillers from the Restylane family, Radiesse, Sculptra, the RHA Collection and Belotero Balance. Facial filler sculpting, aesthetic lip augmentation and chemical peels are also offered. The laser and light menu includes fractional laser skin resurfacing, intense pulsed light, Varilight, Prolite, Diolite, and light skin resurfacing, and skin care includes medical facials built on the Skin Master ultrasound device, along with medical-grade products from EltaMD and PCA Skin.
Consultations are scheduled privately with each patient and usually last about an hour. Photographs are taken, computer facial imaging can show possible changes, and pros, cons, risks and possible complications are reviewed before any surgery. Not every patient is a good candidate, and the surgeon may recommend against proceeding. Consultation fees are $95 and apply toward surgery when it is booked, but not toward non-surgical treatments.
The practice aims for natural-looking results and says it avoids over-treating. Computer facial imaging and photographs help plan procedures, and the surgeon will advise against surgery when a patient is not a good candidate.
