A skincare visit usually begins with analysis. The 30-minute Charm City Consult and Skin Analysis includes a consultation, a cleanse, light exfoliation, hydration and a personalized homecare plan. Facials are offered to men as well as women, and the salon suggests a facial about once a month, depending on skin sensitivity.

The salon carries Osmosis MD skincare, and its products run through the Osmosis facial menu, including the Retinal, Liposome and Exosome lines and Revitapen. The salon says the line uses transparent formulations and non-toxic ingredients. The Osmosis Retinal Infusion is a non-acid treatment that the salon says has no downtime. Hydrafacial comes in Express, Deluxe and Platinum tiers, which the salon describes as non-invasive, and treatments can be customized with personalized serums.

Waxing blends soft wax and hard wax, and the wax type changes with the area. Hard wax is used for coarse or curly hair and for clients with sensitive skin. Facial waxing is done before a facial when both are booked on the same day. Eyebrow threading is available on request with specific staff, and microblading and other permanent makeup services are offered as well.

Hours are Monday 12:30 to 6:30 p.m., Tuesday to Thursday 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., Friday and Saturday 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and closed Sunday. A credit card is required at booking and kept on file for fees. Changes need at least 24 hours notice, notice under 12 hours is charged at 50 percent, and a missed appointment is charged in full. Tools are sanitized with hospital-grade disinfectant before every treatment, and estheticians wear disposable gloves during extractions.

Each skincare visit is built around education on the client's individual skin needs and a recommended routine for home.
