A visit begins with a consultation for new loc installations, microlocs, instant locs and repairs, and appointments are planned around each client's hair goals from start to finish. Clients should arrive with clean, product-free, detangled hair unless a wash is booked. Add-ons such as washes, detox treatments, styling and repairs are chosen during booking. Hair that is not clean without a booked wash carries an extra $50 fee, extra detangling is $50 per hour, and an edge refresh or touch-up of the first two rows starts at $75, depending on braid size.

Aftercare and adjustments are part of the service. Braid issues reported within one week receive a complimentary adjustment, and after that a touch-up fee applies. Braid touch-up options include a two-week edge refresh, a four-week partial rebraid, and a full rebraid after six weeks, which is treated as a new style. Loc installation issues reported within seven days are repaired free, and wick reattachment is free within five days if ends loosen. The loc warranty does not apply if aftercare instructions are not followed or if the hair has been affected by heat, coloring or product misuse.

Appointments that fall outside open slots can be handled in two ways: join the waiting list, or contact the studio to arrange a booking outside regular hours. Payment is accepted by cash, Zelle, Venmo or Apple Pay, with any balance left after the service settled when it ends. Deposits and finished services cannot be refunded, but if a problem turns up, a correction can be requested within 48 hours. Guests who arrive late may have their service cut short, be charged an additional fee, or have the appointment cancelled when there isn't enough time left to complete it. A tip is welcome but never expected.

Protective styling is treated as an ongoing system, with aftercare education between visits, and styles are designed to support the long-term health of natural hair.
