Chandra Wellness

Chandra Wellness is led by Chandra Scofield, a licensed acupuncturist, applied clinical nutritionist and meditation teacher. The practice combines acupuncture, herbal medicine, functional medicine and nutrition in one place. The office is on the second floor at 205 1/2 North Larchmont Boulevard, and telehealth visits by Zoom are available for clients elsewhere.

New clients can start with a free 20-minute telehealth discovery call to talk through concerns and health history. An initial comprehensive consultation with acupuncture and cupping therapy runs two hours at $275, and follow-up acupuncture with cupping is one hour at $150. Telehealth comprehensive consultations run 1 hour 30 minutes at $275, with 45-minute follow-ups at $150, and include a functional nutrition assessment.

Other offerings include Acupuncture Facial Rejuvenation, a skin treatment using ultra-fine acupuncture needles, at 1 hour 15 minutes for $275, and 45-minute guided meditation sessions at $120. Functional medicine lab testing includes gut testing with permeability and food allergy blood tests, combined with acupuncture and nutrition. The practice uses the Adrenal Stress Index as part of adrenal fatigue assessment, and practitioner-selected supplements are available through a Fullscript dispensary.

The practice works closely with some fertility clinics and offers acupuncture alongside IVF and other Western fertility procedures. It describes its clinical work as spanning decades and says it has worked with thousands of clients. It does not accept health insurance, but it takes FSA and HSA funds, cash, Zelle, Venmo, and major credit cards.
