Central Jersey Electrolysis

Central Jersey Electrolysis provides hair removal by electrolysis at its Hillsborough Township location, on US-206 in Suite 502. The practice describes electrolysis as the only FDA-approved method for permanent hair removal, and it says it works with all hair types. Its stated focus includes unwanted facial hair. Electrolysis usually removes unwanted hair over a few sessions.

The practice offers three recognized electrolysis methods. Galvanic electrolysis destroys the hair root through chemical action, thermolysis uses heat to do the same, and blend electrolysis combines the two. The practice currently treats only the area above the waist.

A first visit includes a consultation and a 10-minute treatment. Later sessions are timed at 15, 30, 45 or 60 minutes. The posted fee schedule lists $25 for the first visit, $50 for 15 minutes, $70 for 30 minutes, $100 for 45 minutes and $120 for 60 minutes. Electrologists at the practice hold a New Jersey license to practice electrology and are International Board certified. They are also members of the American Electrology Association and keep up continued education credits approved by that association.
