Cellulite Solutions was established in 1999, the same year Endermologie was introduced into a salon setting. Founder Marie Lopiano runs the studio, which sits inside Bellini Salon & Day Spa at 112 Pleasant St. SW in Vienna, directly behind the Texaco station on Pleasant Street.

The business has added treatments over the years. Microdermabrasion and the NeoStrata skincare line arrived around 2000, and in 2001 it added Cosmécanique (Lift 6) and a second Endermologie machine. In 2005 it began offering VelaSmooth two days after FDA approval, which the salon says made it the first salon in Northern Virginia and Washington, D.C. to offer it. VelaShape followed in 2007 and VelaShape III in 2014. In 2006 the studio became a distributor of the Wellbox home Endermologie system and trains customers who use it. In 2000 it treated Denise Austin, a former national spokesperson for LPG, at the selection of LPG's CEO.

A visit starts with a free consultation to determine whether a client is a good candidate for treatment. Body Composition Analysis is offered at no charge before a customized body plan begins. It reports percent body fat, body mass index, resting metabolic rate, percent body water, percent lean mass and activity-based calorie burn rates, and clients keep a copy of the results.

Endermologie sessions typically run 15 to 35 minutes, and a sustained program is at least 15 to 20 sessions, with monthly maintenance suggested afterward. Clients are advised to drink about two liters of water a day during the program. VelaShape III is applied to each treatment area for about ten minutes; the studio recommends four to six sessions once a week, then maintenance every four to six weeks. Standard microdermabrasion is usually six or more sessions, with the first three weekly and the next three two weeks apart, and clients are asked to avoid sun and makeup for 12 hours afterward and use only a gentle cleanser and moisturizer for 48 hours. Clients with very sensitive skin or acne are advised to speak with a physician before scheduling Cosmécanique.

Treatments are planned after a no-cost consultation, and most body and facial plans are run as a series with maintenance sessions afterward.
