To arrive, guests enter through the building lobby and call the studio from the intercom at 014; the door opens on the right. Bathrooms are directly in front of the studio. If the studio curtain is closed, guests should not knock and should wait in the area across from the studio door. Free street parking is available October through May, and there is parking directly in front of the studio. From May 1 through September 30, the metered street parking in front costs $2 an hour on weekdays and $3 an hour on holidays and weekends.
Body waxing covers the chest, back, stomach, underarms, inner thighs, arms and legs, with several areas offered as partial or full options. Prices for many areas are listed as starting at a set amount. Face waxing includes single areas such as the brows, lip, chin, sideburns, cheeks, nose, hairline, neck and ears, or a full face service of 30 minutes in which clients choose which features to focus on. Intimate waxing includes bikini, Brazilian and butt waxing. The Brazilian wax is booked only for clients who have a vulva, and the bikini and butt services can be chosen by line, strip or full area.
The studio offers an Ingrown Microdart Patch for $4 per patch, applied at the end of an appointment. The business describes it as the first of its kind and says it can clear bumps in as few as six hours. A Dark Spot Patch is also available for $4. Vajazzle Me! gem designs for the bikini area, including heart, bow, cowboy hat and cat, can be added for $10 and last a couple of days with proper care.
Before booking, note that a client intake and consent form is sent by email and must be signed at least 48 hours before the appointment. Clients have a 5-minute grace period before their start time, which covers bathroom use, parking and traffic. Cancellations or rescheduling within 48 hours of the appointment time carry a fee of 100% of the services booked, and booking means agreeing to that policy. Clients are advised to exfoliate two to three times a week before a wax, avoid alcohol the night before and caffeine the morning of, and speak with a dermatologist about any skin conditions. Waxing during a menstrual cycle is allowed, with a clean tampon or menstrual cup in place on arrival. The studio sells Fur brand products and recommended aftercare in travel and full sizes on site, but products are not shipped and personal care products cannot be returned.
