Cece Braided It works out of Beauty of Royalty, a salon inside The Boulevard Mall on South Maryland Parkway in Las Vegas. The menu covers several kinds of braids, locs, plaits and twists. Listed prices are starting points and can rise depending on hair type or length.

The business does not supply braiding hair, so clients bring all of their own. Hair should be at least three to four inches long, freshly shampooed without product buildup, and blow dried or stretched before the appointment. Clients with thinning hair or hair loss are asked to send photos of their hair before booking. Travel appointments can be arranged for an added fee of $100 to $150 on top of the service cost.

Loc services range from retwists, including versions with barrel twists or two-strand twists, to starter locs, invisible locs and same-day instant locs. Crochet maintenance is offered to strengthen the crown and pulls loose hairs into locs, and it needs at least an inch of new growth. Loc extensions use human hair the client provides and most installs take five to eight hours; installs past seven hours carry an extra $80 per hour. Loc combination and blending reduces the number of existing locs for a fuller look.

A booking fee is required to reserve a time. It is non-refundable and goes toward the remaining cost. Cancelling means paying a new booking fee to rebook, and 24 hours' notice is requested. There is a 15-minute grace period, after which late fees of $15 to $30 apply. Clients who miss an appointment without cancelling are charged the full remaining balance and cannot book future appointments. Payment is accepted by cash, Tap to pay and Zelle, and cash should be exact. Prices are not negotiable. Extra guests are not allowed unless they are being serviced after the client or the client is a parent. No refunds are given on services, classes, booking fees or deposits, though complimentary fixes within three days of a service are offered depending on the case. The salon address is sent to clients who add a valid phone number when booking.
