CB Face Bar was founded by sisters Courtney and Carly with the aim of creating a place where people can gather, unwind and treat themselves in a lighthearted, relaxed setting. The bar is open-concept, and guests can also book private facial parties for birthdays, bachelorette outings, girls' days and other events, with the salon closed to the public during the booking.

Acne Bootcamp is a 3 to 6 month program. It starts with a free 30-minute consultation that includes a skin analysis, a conversation about skin goals, a review of lifestyle, diet and medical history, and a custom homecare plan. If a client decides to commit at that visit, the first treatment is booked then. The first treatment comes with the first round of Face Reality Skincare home care products. Local clients come in every two weeks, while virtual clients have bi-weekly check-ins, and the home routine is adjusted at each visit. Once acne is under control, the program moves to monthly treatments with continued use of the products. Clients are asked to follow their custom routine every day and night and to pause their previous routine and any prescribed acne medication.

The facial menu ranges from a 45-minute CB Facial to a 50-minute HydroGlow facial that uses vacuum pressure and specialized wands to exfoliate, extract and infuse serums at once. The Plus versions add a deeper cleanse or exfoliation along with removal of vellus hair. CB Facial Plus is not booked during active acne, and HydroGlow is not recommended for severe acne.

Beyond facials, the bar offers brow waxing, tinting and lamination, lash lifts, tints, classic and hybrid lash sets and fills, lash extension removal, and quick waxing of the chin and upper lip. Memberships include one facial each month, 10% off other services and 10% off retail products, begin on the purchase date, need no commitment, and require 30 days' notice to cancel. Unused facials roll over to the next month and can be gifted or credited. Gift cards are available, and an online shop carries skincare from Face Reality Skincare, GlyMed Plus and Clearstem Skincare.

The bar pairs a relaxed, social setting with structured, step-by-step acne care built around a custom home routine and Face Reality Skincare products.
