The school says it has trained and placed nearly ten thousand estheticians and describes itself as a leader in esthetics career training with more than 45 years behind it.

The school offers three programs: a 600-hour esthetics program meant to prepare students for the Massachusetts State Board of Cosmetology Examination in Esthetics, a 150-hour spa therapy program, and a 650-hour massage therapy program meant to prepare students for the Massage & Bodywork Licensing Examination (MBLEx). The esthetics program covers advanced facial and skin treatments, waxing, IPL, HydraFacials, microneedling, dermaplaning, LED light, extraction techniques, and lash and brow services. The massage program covers anatomy and physiology, Swedish, sports, deep tissue, prenatal and trigger point massage, myofascial release, and business practices. Esthetics and massage programs are taught in person.

The Student Clinic is open to the public. Every treatment there is performed by a student under the guidance of a Licensed Esthetics Instructor, so appointment length varies with the student's level of training. Not every treatment can be booked online; clients call the clinic to schedule, and the clinic can cancel appointments depending on student attendance. Clients are asked to give 24 hours' notice for cancellations, late arrivals may be rescheduled, children under 12 are not admitted, and special requests are not accepted. Prospective students must tour the school and meet an Admissions Representative well before a class starts, and the school offers free 30-minute tours for esthetics, spa and massage therapy that include watching classes in session.

Financial aid for the esthetics and spa programs can include Federal loans, the Federal Pell Grant and State Grants for those who qualify, and requires a FAFSA. The massage therapy program is not currently eligible for financial aid or VA educational benefits, but flexible payment plans are available. Alumni of the school receive a 10% discount on the massage therapy program. The Catherine Hinds Company, at the same address, sells professional skincare products, equipment and seminars for estheticians.

Training is hands-on and taught in person, with students performing treatments on clinic clients under instructor supervision.
