Electrolysis is offered on the face and body, including facial hair, chest, abdomen, arms, legs, and genitals, and as part of gender-affirming care, including preparation for gender-affirming surgery. The practice uses galvanic, thermolysis (flash), and blend modalities and does not favor one over another. Each client receives a customized plan matched to hair removal goals, hair and skin type, and comfort level. The business states that its treatment aims for full follicle destruction for lasting clearance and that electrology works on all skin tones and hair types because it treats one follicle at a time.
Sessions run 30, 60, or 90 minutes, with 2-hour-plus visits arranged with the electrologist and priced on request. The 30-minute session is the minimum and 60 minutes is the standard length. The 90-minute session covers the face or body only, not genitals. Same-day and walk-in visits are not accepted, so every appointment must be booked ahead. Late clients are seen only for the remaining time and appointments are not extended; arriving more than 15 minutes late means the full booked session is charged. No-shows owe the full scheduled fee whether or not a payment method is on file. Harassment, threats, and abusive or discriminatory behavior are not tolerated, and the electrologist may end an appointment, with the fee still applying.
Oregon House Bill 2002, passed in May 2023, requires health insurers to cover gender-affirming care, which the site says includes electrolysis for people with a gender dysphoria diagnosis. The practice is working toward in-network status with some insurance companies. Until then, clients pay out of pocket and request reimbursement from their insurer, and standard superbills are provided at no additional charge.
The practice describes electrology as more than hair removal, including self-expression and gender affirmation. Stated priorities are a safe and welcoming environment, gender-inclusive care, accessible care, and high-quality care.
