Caro Benitez Makeup Studio began in 2005 as a studio in Asuncion, Paraguay, run by owner Caro Benitez. The Overland Park location opened in 2020 and is the studio's current base. Caro works as a makeup artist and as an esthetician and skincare practitioner, and she also teaches aspiring estheticians.

The studio describes its philosophy as giving everyone a luxury experience and says it uses high-quality products, tools and technology to help clients reach their best skin and makeup. Skincare is built around PCA Skin and Dior products, and studio makeup and bridal makeup include a touch-up kit.

A visit starts with forms, so clients are asked to arrive about 10 minutes early. Saturday and Sunday makeup appointments are arranged by text or phone depending on which team makeup artists are available, and students are asked to book a Sunday to Thursday appointment, with Sunday bookings made by text. Reserving a bridal date takes a $200 deposit and a signed contract. Bridal travel needs at least five makeup services and is charged at $1.00 per mile round trip from the studio, and the bridal page says the studio has worked with clients in Kansas City, Cabo San Lucas and Florence, Italy.

Beyond bridal and skincare, the studio runs classes: self makeup lessons, a two-hour private lesson tailored to the student, a two-hour group class for three or more friends held at the studio, and a 90-minute professional class for makeup artists. Spa services carry a loyalty offer where the sixth of the same service is free once five are bought, to be used within one year.

Facial and skincare treatments are customized to each client's concerns, using PCA Skin and Dior products along with professional tools.
