Caring Loft

Caring Loft is a hair salon in Manassas. The salon describes itself as more than a place to have hair done, pointing to relaxation alongside hair transformations. Braiding is its main focus, with twists and weaves also offered.

The braiding menu includes single braids, tree braids, cornrows, micro-braids and mohawk braid styles, along with crochet braids and half crochet braids, which blend a client's natural hair with extensions. Extensions can be provided for an added cost, or clients can bring their own; bringing your own hair does not change the service price.

Visits are by appointment. A non-refundable deposit of $25 per person is taken at booking and applied to the total. Hair should arrive clean, detangled and free of product buildup, and extra washing or detangling costs $20 to $30. Prices are based on time and skill. The remaining balance is paid at the end in cash or Zelle, and tipping is appreciated but not required. Light snacks and drinks are allowed, and extra guests and children stay only if they are receiving services.

Timing matters here. Appointments more than 30 minutes late may be canceled or rescheduled with the deposit forfeited, and changes need at least 48 hours' notice. The salon gives clients at least 30 minutes' warning if it is running behind. One emergency reschedule may be offered without losing the deposit. Clients should disclose allergies, scalp conditions or sensitivities before the appointment, as the salon is not liable for reactions to products or materials.

The salon also offers hair braiding training seminars, an apprenticeship program and a coaching program, with inquiries handled by email. It plans to add cosmetology and styling services. Sunday hours are listed as offered twice a month.
