About

Caribbean Spa operates four locations: three in Brooklyn and one in Manhattan. The spa says it aims to balance mind, body and spirit, and describes itself as a destination for relaxation and self-care.

The body work menu includes Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, hot stone massage, relaxation massage and sport body work, which combines deep tissue techniques with stretching and targeted pressure for athletes and active people. Couples body work lets two guests receive massages at the same time, and the menu also has body scrubs to remove dead skin cells, aromatherapy massage with essential oils, a reflexology-style foot massage called Relax Your Feet, and Relax Your Mind, a head massage focused on the scalp, temples and neck. The facial menu covers cleansing, hydrating, rejuvenating and men's facials, plus a facial massage. Facials typically run 60 to 90 minutes and can be paired with a massage.

Guests are given a robe, slippers and towels, and are asked to wear comfortable, loose clothing. Clients undress to their own comfort level, and professional draping is used during massage to protect privacy. The spa says treatments are personalized, including preferences for pressure and for areas that need extra attention.

Gift cards can be bought online or at the front desk and are sold in denominations of $50, $60, $70 and $100, which correspond to 30, 45, 60 and 90 minutes. They can be used for any service, are valid for 90 days from purchase, and are non-transferable and non-refundable. Prices are not listed online, so visitors are asked to contact the spa directly. The three Brooklyn locations are open daily from 10:30 AM to 10:00 PM.

Treatments are tailored to each guest's preferences for pressure and focus areas. The spa says it uses natural ingredients, is committed to sustainability and treats cleanliness as its first priority.

The spa describes its setting as calm, peaceful, private and intimate.
