Capri Microblades

Capri Microblades is a permanent makeup studio at 13341 W Hwy 290, Suite 402, in Austin, located inside Gatlin Creek Dentistry. Directions note that it sits off Old Fitzhugh Rd near Mercer St. The studio is run by owner and artist Capri Jentsch and describes its work as custom permanent makeup artistry. Hours are Tuesday 10am to 2pm, Wednesday 2pm to 7pm, Thursday and Friday 10am to 4pm, and Saturday by request.

The permanent makeup menu includes lip blushing, a semi-permanent procedure that adds pigment to the lips, and permanent eyebrows done by microblading, nano shading, nano strokes, or a combination of two. The studio also offers 3D areola repigmentation for people who have lost their areola during surgery, and paramedical tattooing. A separate set of brow and lash services covers brow shaping with tweezers, scissors and a dermaplaning razor, brow lamination, brow tint, and lash lift with optional tint.

New permanent makeup clients email a well-lit photo of their full face and wait for confirmation before booking. Lip blushing appointments are allotted four hours; lips are pre-drawn with a white pencil and no numbing agent is used. Permanent eyebrow appointments are allotted three and a half hours. Lip blushing typically lasts one to three years depending on skin type, lifestyle and care, and permanent eyebrows last about one to three years. Touch-ups are offered at six to eight weeks and yearly.

Booking rules are firm: clients need at least 72 hours notice to cancel or reschedule, and may cancel and reschedule once; a second cancellation forfeits the deposit. Deposits and services are non-refundable. Arriving more than 15 minutes late may lead to cancellation and be treated as a no-show, and service may be refused if caffeine or alcohol was consumed in the past 24 hours. Children under 18 are not permitted in the studio. The studio will tattoo over previous permanent makeup only when it is faded 80% or more and at least a year has passed since the last session. Clients who pay in cash receive $25 off the initial permanent service and $15 off the yearly touch-up.
