Canvas is a hair salon in West Midtown Atlanta. Its services cover custom color and corrections, extensions, silk presses, blowouts, haircuts, curly cuts and rod sets, along with healthy hair services. The salon names quality, accuracy and consistency as its core values.

The space is shared and boutique in size, with independent stylists working side by side. Each stylist sets their own appointment, pricing and cancellation rules, and guests aren't permitted at appointments because of limited room.

Booking is done through the online book now link, and clients can text their stylist with questions. A reminder text goes out 48 hours before each appointment and must be confirmed through its link, or the appointment is cancelled. Changes and cancellations need 48 hours notice, and later cancellations are charged half the scheduled service cost. Deposits are non-refundable.

The hair model program offers discounted services to clients who take part in in-salon training. A model haircut is $60, a model blowout or silk press is $60, and model color services range from $100 to $350. Hair model extensions are free with purchase of hair. Model prices aren't negotiable, model services aren't open to existing clients, and they carry no redos or refunds, with a non-refundable deposit due at booking.

New color clients complete a color intake form and are offered a patch test, which is followed by a 48 hour wait before the appointment. Black box or black professional color is accepted at the discretion of the stylist.
