A visit usually begins with an initial consultation, with a fee that starts at $350. If the patient goes ahead with the same procedure the consultation was held for, that fee may be applied to it. After a thorough evaluation, procedures are planned step by step, and patients receive a detailed discussion of their options, the risks and the expected outcomes. Patients are asked to arrive in New York a day or two before surgery and to remain in the city for a set follow-up period afterward, which depends on the procedure. Certified private-duty nurses can be arranged for overnight or extra post-operative care. The practice works with the nearby Loews Regency Hotel to secure accommodations for patients, though it does not take the bookings itself.

The facility is AAAASF accredited and uses only board-certified anesthesiologists. Operating in the practice's own accredited operating room is typically less costly than a hospital or ambulatory surgery center.
