Bunny Venom

Bunny Venom began in Brooklyn, New York, and the studio now operates from Studio #4 at 4711 Montgomery Ln in Bethesda. It is a private space where each client is the only one being worked on, and every visit is booked in advance.

The studio describes itself as putting precision, cleanliness and attention to detail first, rather than speed. Clients can have a free consultation before booking or during the appointment to talk through nail goals, shape, length and design. Add-on prices for rhinestones, chrome and charms are set at that consultation, and extra designs or embellishments carry additional charges.

Gel-X extensions and custom nail art are the core of the work, alongside gel and no polish manicures and pedicures. Gel and enhancement services are not offered to minors 17 and under without a parent or guardian's approval, and not to children under 16 without parent consent. Soak-off is available for gel polish and for Gel-X or acrylic enhancements, and enhancements from other salons are removed with a nail drill and acetone. The studio does not offer acrylic services, does not remove calluses, ingrown nails or corns, and refers clients to a doctor when that is needed.

Each set is planned around the client, with precision, cleanliness and detail as the priority. Single-use implements are discarded after every client, and multi-use tools are scrubbed with soap and hot water, disinfected in Barbicide for at least 10 minutes and then sealed.
