Brushworx was founded in 2006 by Patti Simmons and Christine Pay. The team grew from three artists to eight by 2010 and to eighteen by 2022. A second studio opened in Roswell in 2018, joining the original Snellville location.

Brushworx was founded in 2006 by Patti Simmons and Christine Pay. The team grew from three artists to eight by 2010 and to eighteen by 2022. A second studio opened in Roswell in 2018, joining the original Snellville location.

The salon describes itself as Atlanta's leading beauty team, with a focus on bridal hair and makeup for weddings and events. Press coverage in 2010 came from The Atlantan Bride, Modern Luxury Weddings, Points North Magazine and Atlanta Weddings Magazine. In 2008 the team was selected as preferred beauty vendor for a 70th birthday party. In 2011 it worked alongside designer Anne Barge, Endive Catering and boutique vendors at a bridal event.

The business lists a Best of Weddings award from The Knot each year from 2012 through 2024, a 2023 Modern Luxury Diamond Award for Best Hairstyle, and a 2021 International Wedding Award.

Inquiries are made through an online form or the general email address. Monday to Friday hours run from 9am to 6pm Eastern, and Saturday and Sunday services take place on location. Full Day Coverage includes a bridal trial, wedding day hair and makeup, and three hours of touch-up services, and the elopement package covers the bride's trial, hair and makeup.

Services extend past the bride to bridal parties, mothers, flower girls, grooms, rehearsal dinners and elopements.

Looks are designed to complement each bride's natural features and suit her wedding day.
