Brushed Salon was started during the COVID-19 pandemic by co-owners Mary McKinney and Olivia Altmann, who set out to offer hair services in a setting that felt safe for both stylists and clients. According to the salon, its design and service are exceptional, and clients have described the space as relaxing.
Services are grouped under hair. Women's cuts and the Deva cut sit alongside men's and children's cuts and blow-dries. Color work runs from root touchups and root-to-end color through glazes, men's reshades, partial and full highlights, and balayage. Hair extensions are offered in hand-tied, long-length and IBE styles, with pricing starting at $300.
The salon is open Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., and it is closed on Fridays. Appointments can be booked through the website, and the front desk can be reached at brushed@thebrushedsalon.com or 571-378-0166. Appointments have a 15-minute grace period, after which either the client or the stylist may reschedule. Cancellations without 48 hours' notice are charged 50% of the service, and no-shows are charged. Clients unhappy with a service can contact the salon within 14 days of the appointment for a free fix.
