Brows of a Feather was founded on December 1, 2016, by owner Izabela. The studio is set up as a boutique eyebrow space, and the business describes itself as being in the heart of San Diego.
Brow lamination is a semi-permanent treatment that relaxes and reshapes the natural direction of brow hair to add volume, and it includes precise shaping and a complimentary brow stain. The results are described as lasting four to six weeks. Brow shaping is done with waxing and tweezing along the natural brow line, and a gentle semi-permanent tint can be added.
The Ultimate Eye Package is another signature option, combining brow shaping, a brow tint that does not affect the skin, and a lash tint. Lash lifts curl natural lashes from the base without extensions and are described as lasting for several weeks.
Microblading creates fine, natural-looking strokes with a hand-held tool and is a semi-permanent cosmetic treatment. A consultation must be booked before the first microblading session. Microblading includes two sessions, and a $100 deposit is taken at booking.
The salon also offers waxing, where a thin coat of wax is spread over the area and lifts unwanted hair out from the root. Dermaplaning is a non-invasive treatment in which a sterile scalpel gently removes dead skin cells and light hair across the face.
The studio aims for each client to feel confident and well-groomed from arrival until departure, with a focus on brow work and semi-permanent treatments.
