Brows by Megan & Co.

Brows by Megan & Co. was founded in 2019 by Megan Havlik, who owns and runs the studio. It brings together the brow services she built up while managing two earlier studios, and it serves local clients as well as people who travel to Indianapolis from across the country.

Microblading is the studio's main service, a semi-permanent technique that uses a handheld tool to deposit pigment for fuller, natural-looking brows. A visit begins with a consultation on brow shape suited to the client's face, and a pigment color matched to hair and skin. Topical numbing cream and gel are applied before and during the session. The studio says most treatments take no more than an hour. Original sessions are priced from $700 to $800, powder brows from $600 to $700, and combo brows, which add shading and suit those with less brow hair, from $750 to $850. Each original session includes a free touch-up 4 to 8 weeks later. Annual rejuvenation for existing clients is $325, and correction work on another artist's brows is priced from $450 to $800. The $50 consultation can be put toward a microblading booking.

Aftercare for microblading covers the first 14 days, with soaking, swimming, saunas and heavy exercise avoided for the first week. Full healing takes about 4 to 6 weeks, and the final look settles around 30 days. Clients are asked to use daily sunscreen to slow color fade, and to check skincare for retinol, vitamin C and chemical exfoliants, which can affect microbladed pigment. Most clients return for a rejuvenation every 1 to 1.5 years.

Booking varies by team member. Online booking is available for Laura, Lainy, Annette and Sarah, while appointments with Megan are made by call, text or the website chat. Microblading cancellations need at least 48 hours' notice, and waxing and other services need 24 hours. Late cancellations incur a 50% charge and no-shows are charged the full service price.
