About

The studio is run by Brooklynn, who works as the owner and brow artist. It describes itself as a boutique studio that puts quality ahead of volume, and it is open Tuesday through Friday from 10am to 7pm and Saturday from 10am to 3pm, closed Sunday and Monday.

Brooklynn's approach is to map, shape and tint each client's brows to that person's own face rather than to a current trend. The aim is brows that look natural and suit the features they already have. Brow mapping is used to plan a balanced shape so the brows start, arch and end in a flattering place, and the studio notes that most clients return for brow waxing about every four weeks to keep the shape.

Services range from a quick brow wax to a semi-permanent brow lamination, which includes a consultation, the lamination itself, waxing, tinting and mapping. Lamination clients are offered a maintenance visit every four to six weeks, where the brows are resculpted, tinted and finished with a K18 treatment. A clear brow gel is used during lamination, and an aftercare product is sold for $10 and recommended for lamination clients.

A few things help a visit go smoothly. Clients are asked to arrive five to ten minutes early, to leave jewelry and valuables at home, and to avoid tweezing or trimming their brows for two to three weeks before the appointment. Brow waxing is not offered to clients with sunburn or peeling skin, and waxing removes spray tan. Cancellations or changes need 48 hours' notice; some services require a non-refundable $50 retainer and forms sent after booking. Tipping is optional. If no time is open, clients can join a waitlist through the booking system.

VIP Brows brings the service to a home, office or event. It requires a one-time FaceTime consultation first. The business accepts Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express and cash, and sells gift cards in $25, $50, $75 and $100 amounts.

Each brow is mapped, shaped and tinted to the individual client rather than to a trend, with the goal of natural-looking brows that suit the face.
