A visit usually starts with a $50 consultation of about 30 minutes. It covers the process, a pre-draw of the brows on the skin, pigment choices and an overview of aftercare, so the client knows what to expect before the first session.

Numbing is applied before and during brow appointments, with a numbing gel used throughout. Clients are asked in advance to stop blood-thinning substances such as fish oil, allergy medication and anti-inflammatory medication at least 48 hours before, and to avoid Botox within two weeks of an appointment and waxing or plucking the brow area in the week before.

Aftercare is detailed. For the first 24 hours the area is gently dabbed and kept dry. For 7 to 10 days it is washed twice daily with unscented antibacterial soap, dried with a clean cotton round and given a thin layer of ointment. Washcloths, scratching, steam, sauna and swimming are avoided for 10 days, along with makeup on the area. Heavy sweating and sun exposure are avoided for 7 days, and anti-aging or acne products for 14 days. The business notes that microblading can take many years to fade fully on some skin types.

Each brow is designed individually for the client, aiming for a natural-looking result that enhances the features they already have.
