Browboyy Studios

Browboyy Studios was founded in 2018 and works from its studio on Fifth Avenue in San Diego. Its stated mission is detail-driven brow service shaped to each client's face. According to the studio, it combines high-end results with a relaxed atmosphere and high standards.

A visit usually starts with brow mapping, which measures and outlines a shape based on facial features and symmetry and takes about five to ten minutes. Mapping is included in every shaping and lamination service. Shaping covers waxing, tweezing and trimming, and a tint can be added for a filled-in look. Brow lamination lasts about six to eight weeks, while tint lasts about three to six weeks on the hair; the skin stain typically fades within five to fourteen days.

Other offerings include a full face wax covering the lip, nose, cheeks, chin, forehead and brows, and a lash lift with tint that lasts six to eight weeks. Prices run from $35 for men's brow shaping up to $145 for lamination with shaping and tint, and aftercare is included with both lamination services.

The studio is open Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 10AM to 5PM, Wednesday from 3PM to 8PM, and Saturday from 10AM to 3PM, and is closed on Sundays and Mondays. Additional guests, including friends, family and children, need their own appointment, and pets are not permitted. Clients who are unwell or have recently been around someone sick are asked to reschedule.

Brow work is built around each client's face, beginning with measured mapping before any shaping, tinting or lamination. According to the studio, it uses top-tier products and precise technique.
