About

The business opened in 2005 with its first location in a mall in Bloomingdale, Illinois, and has grown to more than 26 locations, according to its own website. It describes itself as a current favorite in beauty and says it has earned the trust of thousands of clients for its brow work.

Brow work is the main focus. A team studies the structure of each client's face and brows and recommends a shape that suits them. Threading is done with 100% cotton thread, twisted and rolled along the skin to lift hairs from the follicle, and the business says this gives more precise lines than waxing. Brows can also be tinted, which changes the color and adds the look of thickness and dimension.

Beyond brows, the menu includes eyelash extensions, where synthetic lashes are glued to individual natural lashes with tweezers, along with facials, microdermabrasion and waxing. Waxing appointments are booked through the contact page. Henna tattoos are temporary designs made from dried, powdered henna leaves mixed into a paste. Henna dries dark on the skin and settles to a reddish-brown once it is removed. Airbrush tattoos are also available.

Several addresses are listed under The Brow Boutique name, and the business lists Bliss Browbar and Brow Boutique as affiliates.

The business describes its hair removal methods as innovative and natural, and bases brow recommendations on each client's face and brow structure.
