Brow Lady Microblading Studio

Brow Lady was built by Sokkha Va, who began in threading and brow shaping before moving into permanent makeup in 2018. The studio serves clients from Greater Boston, the North Shore, Southern New Hampshire and nearby towns such as Lowell, Andover and Woburn. According to the studio, it has performed more than 4,500 procedures and has over 230 five-star Google reviews. The studio also says BusinessRate named it a 2025 Best of award recipient in the Permanent Make-up Clinic category for Wilmington; that is the studio's own account.

Brows and lip color are planned around each client's skin, natural features and the healed result rather than one standard shape or shade. A brow visit begins with a consultation, followed by custom brow mapping, pigment selection, the procedure and aftercare guidance, and the client approves the design before any tattooing. Clients who already have microblading or other permanent brows have their existing pigment evaluated before a new procedure is booked. A free virtual consultation is offered before booking brows, lip blush or custom tattoos.

Beyond brows, the studio offers lip blush, a cosmetic tattoo that adds a customized tint and definition to the lips without adding volume. Its pigment is matched to the client's natural lip tone and undertone, and the color often heals lighter than the first result, so many clients return for more than one session. Scalp micropigmentation is offered for hairline, density, crown and full scalp work, camouflage of some fully healed hair transplant scars, and correction of earlier SMP. Custom and fine line tattoos, including florals, lettering, symbols, memorial pieces and matching designs, start at a $150 minimum, with the quote based on design, size and complexity.

The Academy trains people who want to become permanent makeup artists. Its 100-hour Permanent Makeup Fundamentals Program follows an AAM-accredited curriculum over about 90 days, with around 30 days of online study, six consecutive in-person days, six model procedures and continued model practice, and classes are capped at four students. The program covers brow styles, mapping, color theory, machine control, sanitation, pricing, booking and portfolio building, and ends with a certificate of completion. Tuition is $7,000 and includes a kit, and a $12,500 option adds a done-for-you business launch. Advanced Nano Brow Training is a three-day course for artists who already have fundamental training, and the Academy also offers refresher classes, focused technique classes and apprenticeships. The studio notes that completing a program does not automatically issue a license, since licensing varies by state and municipality.

Pricing is set by artist. Nano Brows cost $875 with Sokkha Va and $625 with Cindy, Combo Brows cost $825 with Sokkha Va and $575 with Cindy, and Powder Brows cost $775 with Sokkha Va and $525 with Cindy. Prices may change, so the current amount should be confirmed when booking. Nano appointments usually take about three to three and a half hours, and the studio recommends a touch-up about six weeks after the first visit. Healed results cannot be guaranteed.
