Bronde is a salon in Annapolis that calls its clients Bronde Babes. It is open by appointment only: current clients book by text, while new clients submit a new client form, which does not guarantee a time. Anyone who has not had a service in the past year is treated as a new client, and a consultation is required so the stylist can choose the right service and timing.

Each service is built around the client's natural hair, the look they want, how much maintenance they can do and their lifestyle. The salon's first priority is keeping hair healthy, and stylists aim to teach clients how to care for their hair at home, including product suggestions and a recommendation to consider a filtered shower head. The space is meant to feel relaxed, and clients may stay a few hours or bring a laptop.

Lightening is the core of the menu, and every lightening service includes a blow dry and a cut with glaze, plus any glazes needed and a choice of treatment or haircut. Full maintenance foil touches up regrowth and blends previously lightened hair for clients returning within 10 weeks, while partial maintenance foil refreshes current color and roots without extra lightening. For longer gaps, full re-customization adds more foiling, product and time for a heavier highlight, brighter blonde or new look, and partial re-customization offers a lighter change without a full highlight. A mini maintenance or face frame service refreshes color between larger visits. Low maintenance color is expected to last about three to four months, and going more than six months without a root retouch means double the root work and twice the usual lightener. Extra lightening may be needed for a goal of going blonder, after a significant haircut, or when home care or water quality has left ends dull.

Other services include dimensional color, base color with mini foil glaze, color correction, root retouch and basic color; cut and style cuts, blowouts and a smoothing treatment; and extensions, which require a consultation and are priced by row and hair length. The salon says extensions can achieve a dramatic color change without chemicals and can help protect hair from heat.

Cancelling within 48 hours of an appointment incurs a charge of 30% of the booked service to the card on file, cancelling on the same day or during business hours incurs 50%, and a no-call, no-show incurs 100%. Clients can switch to a different service without charge with at least 48 hours notice. Stylists may decline a lightening service if the hair has mineral buildup from well water, heat damage or old color that lightening would harm, and the salon may end work with clients who do not care for their color at home.
