The studio is set up as a quieter space than a typical children's salon, which can suit children who are sensitive to noise and crowds. Families wait in their car until the stylist is ready, and only one parent or adult may come into the studio, with up to two children when they are getting a service. Extra guests at check-in can lead to the appointment being cancelled.

The studio keeps a range of amenities on hand, including balloons, a candy buffet, toys, books, rings, tablets, and fire chief and princess capes. The first haircut packages for boys or girls run 45 minutes for $60 and include a first haircut certificate, a 4x6 colored photo, a lock of hair, a peanut-free lollipop and a balloon.

The listed durations are 30 minutes or more for a boys cut, 40 minutes or more for a girls cut, 60 minutes or more for two boys' sibling cuts, and 70 minutes or more for girls' sibling cuts. Add-ons include shampoo for $10 (15 minutes), a bang trim for $15 (15 minutes) and a detangling service for $30 (40 minutes). A blow out, which is a wash and blow dry without flat ironing, starts at $30 and takes 45 minutes.

New clients pay a 50% non-refundable deposit plus a 3.5% card fee to book. Once the appointment is approved, half the service price is charged, and the rest is paid at checkout. Accepted payments are exact cash, Venmo, credit cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay. No-shows and cancellations made within 2 hours of the appointment carry a 50% non-refundable fee, and unconfirmed bookings are cancelled by the online system. Clients running late should call or text, and arriving more than 7 minutes late may lead to cancellation. Questions are answered by email rather than text. Prices can change without notice. Gift cards come in $50, $75, $100 or $200 amounts, or a custom amount, and gift card sales are final.
