All services are done with hard wax. The Womens Brazilian wax lets clients choose how much of the front to cover and includes the butt strip. The bikini full wax covers the same front area without the butt strip, and the bikini line wax covers anything that would show outside bikini bottoms.
For a bundled visit, the Spooky Smooth Special is a one-hour service covering Brazilian, underarm, stomach strip and inner thighs for $100. Eyebrow waxing comes in three levels: Clean up, which is a consultation, trim and wax; Shaping, which adds a brow pencil and highlight; and Deluxe, which adds a hydrojelly mask to the Shaping service.
Skin care add-ons include a basic Vajacial, a 20-minute service covering skin analysis, cleansing, extractions, high frequency, a jelly mask and serum. It can be booked the same day as a wax and customized for ingrown control. Hydrojelly masks are offered for the lip, eyebrows, underarms, bikini and full face, and the studio describes them as hydrating and helpful for blemishes. High frequency is a 10-minute add-on. It is not offered to people with a pacemaker, a history of heart disease, epilepsy, rosacea, or who are pregnant. A temporary jewel tattoo service is also offered for $10.
Before a wax, clients are asked to let hair grow to about a quarter inch, roughly the size of a grain of rice, and not to shave or trim in between. Afterward, clients are advised to avoid bodies of water, tanning, heavy sweating, scratching the area, and exfoliating for 24 to 48 hours. Clients can wax during their period and are asked to wear a tampon during the appointment. Suggested gaps between waxes are 2 to 3 weeks for the face, 2 to 4 weeks for underarms, and 3 to 4 weeks for the bikini, legs and arms.
Hard wax is used for every service, and the studio notes that waxing is considered safe at any stage of pregnancy, though clients may feel more sensitivity than usual.
