The customized curly cut is the core of the menu. Cuts are done dry, one curl at a time, and the salon says this lets clients go longer between visits. Each cut is checked after styling, which is why the salon recommends booking a customized cut at every visit. Established guests on a second visit or later can book a Custom Curl Cut, while new guests can start with the New Guest Curl Experience, which runs longer.

Appointments are planned well ahead, usually three to four months out, and the salon keeps a waiting list where clients note their preferred days and times. New guests email back with side photos of their hair, the days and times that suit them and a phone number; the address and directions are emailed once an appointment is booked. Clients are asked to arrive with hair freshly cleansed, detangled, dry and worn down, without clips or ties, and they may keep their usual products in. Children are not brought along unless they are having a service, though they can learn hair care alongside a parent.

Cancellations need 48 hours' notice. A $50 fee applies to appointments not cancelled within 24 hours, and after two or more cancellations without that notice, future appointments require non-refundable card prepayment. Corrective color is quoted at an in-person consultation, and color prices depend on hair length, thickness and how much color is used. Prices may change, so clients can ask for an estimated cost before booking. The salon says it offers the best pricing in the area on its products.

Focused on curly hair, with dry, curl-by-curl cutting; new appointments for wet cuts and flat-ironing are no longer offered, and straight-hair services are referred out. The salon says its curly cut lets clients go longer between visits.
