Smoothing is the core of the work. The Brazilian Blowout treatment is meant to reduce frizz and leave hair with a polished finish, and the salon says its results last up to twelve weeks. Keratin Repair Therapy is offered for hair stressed by color, heat or hard water and is described as especially suited to fine hair. Curly hair can also be smoothed to cut down frizz while the curl stays.
Every smoothing visit begins with a hands-on consultation, which is included in the price. Pricing depends on length, density and condition and is quoted at that consultation before any service starts. Because smoothing takes a good amount of time, the salon asks clients to call ahead so enough time can be set aside. Appointments start on time, and the salon tells clients at the outset how long the visit will take. Walk-ins are welcome when chairs are free.
Beyond smoothing, the salon offers women's haircuts with a blowout finish, blowouts with an optional curl, root touch-ups that cover or match roots, and color, gloss and balayage, with a patch test available on request. A 30-minute deep conditioning masque with steam can be added to a visit. The salon works on a one-to-one basis, with one stylist for each guest.
Formula and finish are chosen after the consultation, based on hair porosity, past color and how much time the client wants to spend on their hair each day.
