The salon began as a small business in Lewisville, Texas. It now runs from two addresses on East Round Grove Road and describes its work as African hair braiding and weaving.

Clients book by calling or texting the salon, since online booking is not offered yet. Hours run from 5am to 11:30pm, seven days a week, and no deposit is taken. Prices are quoted for hair from shoulder to mid-back length, and longer hair is priced by phone. The price can shift with the complexity of the style, hair thickness, the length you want and the size of the braids.

Before a braiding appointment, clients are asked to arrive with hair washed, clean and detangled. Every braiding service includes synthetic expression hair and a complimentary wash. The salon also offers personalized style consultations, where braiders help clients pick a style that suits their hair texture, their look and their daily routine.

The range is broad: knotless braids in large, medium and small sizes, boho braids, crochet, stitch, tree, invisible, freestyle and micro braids, cornrows including men's cornrows and men's two-strand twists, kinky, Nubian, spring, Senegalese and island twists, dreadlock work including loc re-twists in full and half head sizes, Bora Bora braids made with 100% human hair, Fulani, lemonade and tribal braids, sew-in weaves, and wash and blow dry. Braid removal and wig cornrows are also available.
