Braids with Joy

Braids with Joy is a family-owned afro hair braiding studio in Westland, Michigan, with more than five years of braiding experience behind it. The studio works on a range of protective styles for women and for kids.

Before any braiding starts, the stylist talks through the look you want, the length, your day-to-day lifestyle and the feel you are after. You can bring a photo of a style you like. Walk-ins are welcome, and calling or texting ahead at (734) 747-3647 holds a specific time slot. The studio is open Monday to Saturday from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM and on Sundays from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
