Braids By Nasia works from a suite in Tempe and focuses on braided and twisted protective styles, along with invisible locs and quickweaves. The services are grouped by style, so clients can choose by technique: knotless braids in several sizes, Fulani and tribal braids, stitch braids, kids braids, Senegalese and mini twists, a medium French curl braid, and loc and quickweave options.

Pricing and time estimates are listed per service. Knotless braids run from $100 for an XL style to $300 for small braids, with hair included in most listings. Times are given as minimums, so a small knotless set is estimated at about 480 minutes or more. Miracle Knots are offered at $130 for clients who bring their own hair, at least four packs. Kids braids for ages 6 to 10 start at $120 and include hair and beads; the style can be freestyled, with options such as braided ponytails, side braids and braided Mohawks.

Booking requires a $20 deposit. Some services carry a larger or additional deposit: mini twists need $100, which counts toward the total cost, and stitch braids and the natural Fulani front-only style need $20. Appointments booked outside regular availability carry a $50 squeeze-in fee, and squeeze-ins are not guaranteed. Braid take-downs are $40 for any size or length, take about two hours, and do not include a wash. Touch-ups for braids or twists are also $40, and clients can choose a perimeter or front-only touch-up.

The studio is open Monday, Wednesday and Thursday from 10 AM to 8:30 PM, Friday from 10 AM to midnight, Saturday from 9 AM to midnight, and Sunday from 9:30 AM to 5 PM. It is closed on Tuesdays. The business also publishes policies on cancellation, late arrival, rescheduling, no-shows, payment, refunds, communication, styling preference changes, hair provided, and photo and video capture.
