Braids by Elle Cee books braiding appointments in the Houston area. Hair is included with every braiding style, and clients can choose from seven colors: 1, 1B, 2, 4, 27, 30 and 613.

Booking requires a deposit of $52 at the time of reservation. Of that, $50 covers the service fee and is taken off the total price. Styles under $100 must be paid in full in advance, and the deposit is non-refundable. The remaining balance is paid in exact cash after the service; Cash App, bank transfers and card payments are not accepted.

Several timing rules apply. Appointments cannot be changed once confirmed. A 10-minute grace period applies, after which a $25 late fee is charged, and appointments are canceled after 15 minutes. Bookings made less than 24 hours ahead carry a $50 same-day fee, Sunday appointments cost $50 extra, and holiday appointments are available on request for an added charge. Guests and children are not permitted at appointments.

Every braiding style begins with freshly washed, blown-out hair rather than flat-ironed hair, and clients are asked to disclose any hair loss, thinning or problem areas before booking.
