BraidedRoots operates as BraidedRoots LLC from inside Lady Cheryl's on N Euclid Ave in San Diego. The shop is open Monday to Friday from 11am to 5pm and Saturday from 11am to 6pm, and clients can reach it by phone at 619.995.7712.

The services are grouped into braids, locs, twists and natural hair services. Styles generally need at least 6 inches of hair, with Comb Coils as the exception, and clients arriving with hair that is too short have their appointment cancelled and owe the total before rebooking.

Booking starts with a non-refundable deposit paid when scheduling, which is applied to the total. The remaining balance is paid at the appointment by cash, Zelle or Apple Pay. Confirmations, the shop location and recommended hair brands are sent by email. Any outstanding balance must be cleared before a new appointment can be booked, and no refunds are given.

Appointment times are estimates, since clients need different amounts of care, and the business says services are not rushed. Clients are asked to arrive on time and to message the stylist ahead if they will be a few minutes late. An appointment is cancelled if the client is 15 minutes late. Changes need at least 48 hours' notice, and no-call no-shows are charged the full price. Arriving with the wrong hair adds a $15 fee and may require rescheduling, and booking a style that does not suit the hair may lead to cancellation.

Clients under 16 are not accepted, except existing regular kid clients. Requests from younger clients are referred to other stylists and barbers in the shop.

Services are unhurried, and appointment times are treated as estimates so each client gets the time their hair needs.
