The work centers on sharing skills and building confidence, and on connecting hair care with self-care and mental wellness. The business describes itself as the place where haircare meets mental wellness.

Education is a core part of the offer. Cornrow Foundations classes cover starting a basic cornrow and hand placement, adding natural hair, clean parting and sectioning, managing grip and tension, building a practice routine, and troubleshooting. Small group classes use the Braid Street Method, with hands-on guidance alongside other students, while private classes give one-on-one instruction at the student's own pace. Classes include a Cornrow Foundations workbook, a tool kit with combs, elastics, jam and a wrist band, a certificate of completion, and snacks, beverages and a 15-minute break.

For appointments, hair prep (shampoo, conditioner and blow dry) is included, and a deep conditioner treatment is available as an optional add-on. Mobile service add-ons run from a 30-minute service at $60 up to a two-hour service at $200. Clients are asked to arrive with hair detangled as much as possible, and a deposit is required before booking.

Community partnerships are available, along with bookings for speaking, workshops, demonstrations and educational events with Soely Sanchez.
