Bounding Beauty is a character makeover business in Winter Garden, Florida, where guests of all ages can be styled as princesses, villains, animals, ride-inspired characters and other theme park favorites. Looks are built around signature colorful braided extensions, and professional hair and makeup and custom-made accessories are included in the character services.

About

The studio is led by founder Cortanie Evans, who works alongside hair and makeup artist Tirsit. Services are booked by date, and each guest's session takes roughly 30 minutes to an hour, depending on the services selected. Bookings are taken up to two years in advance, and a waitlist is kept for dates that are fully booked, though joining it does not guarantee an appointment.

To reserve a date, a non-refundable deposit of $50 per person is required. The remaining balance is due 24 hours before the appointment, and gratuity can be added on the day of service by electronic payment or cash. Clients bring their own wardrobe; hair and makeup, tiara, ribbons, bows, glitter and butterflies are included, but Mickey ears are not. Hair should be blow dried and as smooth as possible before the visit, unless it is box braided or in dreadlocks, and clients should arrive ready up to 30 minutes early. Appointments can be rescheduled from the confirmation email received after booking.

The studio is open Monday through Friday, 6am to 6pm, and Saturdays, 6am to 12pm. Photography is available as an add-on to a studio session and covers shots taken during and after the makeover, with themed backdrops, props and extra costume pieces. Each appointment yields a set of edited high-resolution images for download; the count is 20 or more, depending on how many children take part.

In-room services are offered at select resorts and hotels, including Universal Orlando properties and nearby hotels, for a $40 travel fee. Services are not offered at Walt Disney World Resort owned and operated hotels, due to the resort's policy on outside vendors. Any hotel or resort parking fee is added to the total cost.
