Boots & Bows

Boots & Bows operates from Unit 500 (Suite 29) at 8851 Metropark Dr in Shenandoah. Bookings are taken online through its GlossGenius site. The shop is open Wednesday and Friday from 10 AM to 5 PM and Saturday from 10 AM to 2 PM, and it is closed Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday.

The menu starts with basic color, one or two solid shades with no design. Nail art is sorted into five tiers, from Minimal Art (simple repeated motifs such as dots, stripes, cow print and bows) through Enhanced, Trendy and Luxury, up to Extreme Art Set, which covers hand-painted characters, portraits, heavy embellishments and fully custom sets. Each tier has its own starting price and time, and if a chosen design falls into a higher tier, the price is adjusted to match it. Soak-offs are also offered.

Booking rules are spelled out in detail. A nonrefundable deposit of $15 to $40 is due at booking and counts toward the total. Cancelling or rescheduling with less than 24 hours' notice forfeits the deposit and adds a 40% cancellation fee, which also applies to clients booked before the policy changed. Arriving 10 minutes late carries a $5 fee plus $5 for each further 5 minutes, and arriving 20 minutes or more late cancels the visit. Appointments outside regular availability carry a $20 convenience fee, and after two cancellations or no-shows the business may stop accepting that client's bookings.

Clients who already have product applied elsewhere book a foreign soak-off, which covers acrylic, builder gel, Gel-X, polygel, dip or similar enhancements. Builder gel or Gel-X applied at the shop and worn longer than 6 weeks needs a My Work soak-off booked alongside the appointment. Clients wearing Gel-X book a soak-off rather than a regular visit, since soak-offs need extra time. Gift cards are sold in $25, $50, $75 and $100 amounts or a custom value and cannot be refunded.
