Bombshell Hair

Bombshell Hair was opened by owner Beth Allen after more than two decades working as a stylist in the Plymouth area. The name and decor draw on classic film-era beauty icons.

The salon aims for a relaxed, comfortable setting with no dress code for clients, and describes itself as free of drama and diva behavior. Services are by appointment only, and Saturdays are booked in advance. Many newer clients come through referrals from existing clients, often looking for a change.

Color is the core of the work, covering every form of hair color. The salon uses Pravana color, which the line describes as botanically based, cruelty free and organic. Glamour styling for proms, weddings and special events is also offered, and all work is guaranteed.

The salon takes part in hair donations. It accepts hair at least 10 inches long for Locks of Love, including colored hair but not bleached hair, and accepts hair for wigs4kids, which excludes colored or bleached hair. It also collects unused personal care products for First Step, a shelter in Plymouth.
