Bold look by Salma Bar operates from a suite inside Phenix Salon Suites in North Hollywood, open every day from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM. The studio describes itself as a place where artistry and hair work meet, and says each appointment is tailored to the client.

Services are grouped into brows, hair color, haircuts, hair extensions, hairstyling, hair treatments and makeup. Color work ranges from glosses and root retouches to balayage, highlights, babylights, fashion color and color correction. Extension options include clip-in, weft sew-in, tape-in, I-tip and K-tip installs, as well as integration installs, lace front wig installs and wig styling.

Booking is done online through the website. A $40 deposit is required for every appointment and is applied to the total cost of the service. If an appointment is canceled less than 24 hours ahead, the deposit is not refunded. The studio can also be reached by phone or email.

Each appointment is tailored to the client, with the work built around the individual's hair and goals.
