Body Waxing By Roz is located at 1601 Eagles Roost Court in Richmond, Virginia, and works by appointment only. Clients can book through StyleSeat or by calling the studio, and the business serves both women and men.
The menu covers most of the body. The men's menu includes chest, stomach, back, shoulders, arms, hands, legs, feet and Brazilian waxing. Head waxing begins with a consultation, and a test strip is included with that visit.
The studio uses soft wax, hard wax and roller wax, depending on the area. Clients are asked to let hair grow to about a quarter inch, or long enough for the wax to grip, and to shower or rinse beforehand. Oils, lotions, powder, perfume and deodorant should be avoided, and sun should be avoided for 48 hours before a visit. Afterward, sun should be avoided for at least 24 hours and tanning beds for at least 48 hours. The business recommends bikini waxing every four to six weeks.
Bikini waxing can be done during pregnancy. The business advises checking with a doctor during the last two months.
Payment is due in full at the time of service and is accepted in cash, Visa and Mastercard; personal checks are not taken. Cancelling at least 24 hours before an appointment carries no charge. Cancelling with less notice is charged 25 percent of the service price, and a no-show is charged 50 percent. Prices and policies may change without notice, and an extra charge applies if hair needs trimming before a waxing appointment.
The studio says it does not double dip and places an emphasis on customer care, aiming to build a loyal client base through satisfaction.
The setting is described as welcoming, quiet and relaxing.
