About

Body Dynamics is a non-invasive body contouring, sauna detox and recovery studio at 3 E. Diamond Ave in downtown Gaithersburg. The business calls itself a local DMV business and is owned and founded by Sala.

Body contouring treatments start with a consultation, which runs 25 minutes and costs $25. It covers health history, medications, previous surgeries and lifestyle, and photographs and measurements may be taken. The plan begins with a talk about the client's goals, followed by the available options and a suggested treatment plan. Progress is checked between sessions and the plan is adjusted as needed. Massage clients can book directly without a consultation.

Each session is scheduled individually, so every visit takes place privately. Sauna, wrap and lymphatic treatments can be combined into a plan matched to a client's goal. For first-time clients, the studio's New Client Body Reset costs $129 and covers a body assessment, ultrasound cavitation, RF skin tightening, body vacuum therapy, thermal heating, and a seven-day meal guide.

Post-surgery work is part of the menu. Post-op lymphatic massage and a post-op body sculpting and maintenance package are available, but only with closed incisions, no leaking and written clearance from the client's surgeon. Some maintenance treatments need at least two months after surgery plus additional surgeon approval. Treatments are not performed over open incisions, active drainage, leaking wounds or suspected infection.

Wellness offerings include sauna blanket sessions, a Bring the Heat package of four one-hour sauna blanket sessions, a foot detox soak, and a yoni steam. Yoni steaming should be avoided during pregnancy or while genital irritation or infection is active. According to the business, results differ between people, and specific inch loss, fat reduction or skin tightening cannot be promised. The business also states that its non-invasive services do not replace medical care, surgery, exercise or a balanced diet.

Each plan starts with the client's goals, followed by a review of options and a suggested treatment plan. Progress is measured between sessions and the plan is adjusted, and sauna, wrap and lymphatic work may be paired where they help.

Each visit is private, since sessions are scheduled one at a time.
