A visit usually begins with a personalized skin assessment. Walk-ins are taken when there is room, but appointments are recommended, especially for airbrush tans and Red Light Therapy, and can be booked online. Before a tanning appointment, clients are asked to exfoliate the day before, shave or wax at least 12 hours ahead, skip moisturizer that day, and leave off makeup and deodorant.

UV sessions take place in Super Beds at select locations, which the salon says are fitted with tanning lamps it maintains closely. The salon describes the Super Beds as the most advanced in the tanning industry and says they give a tan in about a quarter of the time a competitor takes. For a base tan, the salon suggests three to four sessions a week for two weeks, then one to two a week for maintenance.

Sunless tanning is offered at most locations, using a DHA-based formula that reacts with the outer layer of skin and provides no sun protection. Airbrush tans begin with a consultation, after which a technician applies the color by hand, customized to each client's skin tone. Application takes about three to five minutes and one to three minutes to dry. The salon says a spray tan typically lasts five to seven days and recommends a touch-up every five to seven days, with a wait of six to eight hours before showering and loose, dark clothing afterward.

Red Light Therapy at select locations uses a whole-body bed that emits red and near-infrared wavelengths. The business describes it as a non-UV treatment and says the bed is FDA registered and cleared. The salon says the treatment is used for skin rejuvenation, muscle recovery and pain relief, and also cites reduced inflammation and support for overall wellness. Sessions start at $33, and packages and memberships are available for under $100 a month. The salon recommends three to four sessions a week at first, then about two a week for maintenance.

The salon says its indoor tanning includes staff education on how skin types respond to sunlight and how to prevent sunburn. It states that it follows the latest FDA guidance on the risks of tanning.
