The core of the school is a full cosmetology education program built around a 1,000-hour course that is described as licensed by the Virginia DPOR. The program is designed to meet and go beyond the state's required hours and to prepare students for licensing exams. Business and marketing courses cover self-promotion, client retention, salon operations and financial management, and students also receive Redken Elite education.
