Many services list an approximate appointment length and the amount of hair needed. Knotless and box braid appointments run from about 4 to 6 hours depending on size and length, while smaller stitch braid styles take about an hour to three and a half hours. Several listings name the brand and pack count of pre-stretched hair, such as Outre or Xpression, and the listed price does not include hair.

The salon also teaches. A one-on-one braiding lesson runs two hours and covers cornrows, stitch braids, and knotless braids with and without extensions, starting from clean, neat parts.

Booking is by deposit. A $30 deposit paid through Zelle is due when booking and goes toward the final cost, and the remaining balance is paid in cash on the day. Deposits are non-refundable. Appointments are cancelled if no deposit arrives within 24 hours. Rescheduling needs at least 48 hours' notice; a later change means the deposit cannot be applied to another date.

Clients should arrive with clean hair that is free of product, and washing is available for an extra fee. Hair must be at least 4 inches long. Extra guests and children are not allowed at appointments, styles cannot be changed on the day of service, and appointments are cancelled if the client is more than 30 minutes late.
